Walk With Me

Sometimes the problem is not a lack of ideas. Quite the opposite. The mind simply feels too full.

There are many possibilities, many directions that seem interesting. But when everything starts to blur together, it can be difficult to see what truly matters.

Conversation often helps us see such situations more clearly. When we talk things through, what once felt complicated often begins to look simpler.

That's usually where coaching begins to work.

What Is Coaching?

At its core, coaching is a conversation process. The difference is that the conversation is intentional and structured.

International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as:

Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

In practice, a coach does not provide solutions or advice. The conversation focuses on helping you understand the ideas, situations, and choices in front of you.

That is why I often describe coaching in a simpler way: as a professional thinking partner.

Professional in the sense that a coach is trained to listen actively, ask the right questions, and help clients unpack their own thinking.

Coaching and Creativity

My coaching approach is strongly shaped by more than thirty years of experience in the creative industries.

Over time I noticed a recurring pattern. Many works, important decisions, and even new ideas often emerge from conversations.

Conversations with colleagues, discussions with editors or casual exchanges that open up a new perspective.

Those experiences eventually shaped the way I practice Coaching.

My focus is not on techniques nor quick solutions. Instead, the conversation helps you reconnect with what you truly want to explore, express, or pursue.

In many cases, the goal is not to find new ideas. More often, it's about seeing existing ideas from a different perspective.

Specialization

Creativity Coaching a writer hits a creative block, a podcaster looks for a new angle, a creator feels their ideas starting to run dry etc.

Education Coaching a student is working on a thesis, choosing a field of study, an educator looking for more engaging ways to teach.

Career Coaching when a professional is considering their next career move, or when an organisation wants to develop more creative ways of working.

What Usually Changes After Coaching?

The outcome of coaching is not always a new plan or idea.

Often what changes is how someone sees an idea or a situation. When the perspective shifts, the next step usually becomes clearer.

How Does the Process Work?

Here's a brief overview of the coaching process with me:

  1. Introductory Session 30–45 minutes to understand your situation and see whether this coaching approach is a good fit.

  2. Coaching Sessions 45–60 minutes per session, either online or in person. Usually at least two sessions are recommended to allow space for reflection.

Types of Sessions

Confidentiality

As in most professional coaching practices, conversations in each session are confidential. The goal is simple: to create a safe space where participants can speak openly throughout the coaching process.
